Three Item Thursday 2: {TP Roll, Fabric, & Clothes Pin} Wall Hanging

I've decided to join in the Three Item Thursday linky party over at The Tattered Tag.  It's such a fun idea and it makes you be thrifty and  use what you already have on hand to make something cool!  This week we had to use TP rolls, fabric/burlap, and clothespins.

I didn't know for sure what I was going to do once I made the background using the toilet paper.  I ended up just making the rosette and some other stuff that went together to make it work.  I decided to make it a little spring-y as our house doesn't have much spring to it - if you could say it's spring, since yesterday it snowed!

The main background piece is made of toilet paper rolls that I cut up in about 1 centimeter pieces, glued together, and spray painted black.  I used this tutorial here.

My fabric is used in the rolled rosette flower.

I used a mini clothes pin glued to the background piece to hold a cute little bunny that makes me think of spring!

All the other items are simple embellishments I had on hand.

For the items I used to make this, I think it turned out really cool.  I want to make something like the lady who did the tutorial for the toilet paper art with a frame in between like that - it looks so awesome - kind of expensive, actually, but it's so cheap and easy to make!  I really enjoyed making this and plan on doing more of these things.  I know Christina from The Tattered Tag would love if you would join in - you'll have fun; I know it!!!

Have a wonderful day!
