Christmas Paper Bag Book

I started this book a long time ago . . . a year or two ago.  One of the kids had ripped one of the pages I did apart so I was a bit discouraged and set it aside.  Last week I decided I should finish it, so I did:)

There was actually some tags in the pages . . . (those ribbons sticking out!) but I forgot to take pictures of them:)

I think it turned out pretty cute and I'm glad I finished it!

Have a wonderful day!

A Christmas/Winter Ruffle Table Runner

My project I told you about that I'm finally sharing with you!!  I had it finished and took pictures, but then when I tried editing them before they wouldn't save; it worked now though so it's all good:)

I used a fun mitten print fabric; then I incorporated in the green and red to make it a little more Christmas-y.  I think we'll be able to use it all winter though!

Did you know it's kind of hard to gather fabric when you have 3 layers??  It is; I have experience now!!!  That's why it took longer than I thought it would to make it:)

I think it's cute though:)  It's sitting on the dining room table with some fun little candles in the center of it that we got from a bazaar!  I wish I would've made the table runner shorter, but it works good enough!

Hope you all had a wonderful day!  And have been having fun crafting & baking; getting ready for Christmas!  I need to get BUSY!!  :)

Wishing you a Blessed Christmas!!

I hope & pray that everyone is having a very blessed and merry Christmas!  I hope you are all remembering the true reason for this season!

"And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger."

Luke 2:7-12

Blessings to you all!  God's Peace!

Baker's Review Wednesday 22: Reindeer Feed {Candy Cane Chex}

Reindeer Feed

6 cups Rice Chex
1 bag (12 oz) white chocolate chips (2 cups)
1/3 cup coarsely crushed peppermint candy canes (3-4 regular size)

Line cookie sheet with waxed paper.  In microwavable bowl, melt white chocolate chips, stirring every 30 seconds until melted.  Stir in half the crushed candy canes.  Pour over cereal; toss to evenly coat.  Spread mixture in single layer on cookie sheet.  Immediately sprinkle with remaining candy cane.  Let stand until set.  Gently break up coated cereal. Store in airtight container.  Enjoy!

This was really good and also simple to make.  I would definitely make it again, as it's a great quick and easy snack!!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful time so far this Christmas season!  Blessings to you all!!

Scrappy Christmas Frame

Last year I made Christmas Countdown Blocks and I had some scraps left over.  I cut them into pieces and mod podged them onto a painted frame to make this little lovely!  I love it!  It was fairly simple to make and it was, say, about 25 cents, I believe.  We had everything already, but I know the frame was 25 cents:)

I hope everyone is feeling joyful this Christmas season and remembering what it's truly about!!  Have a great day!
