Cheesy Tuna Melts

Cheesy Tuna Melts are something I've not had in a LONG time!  They're really good and WAY better than just plain tuna fish.  Enjoy!

Those are just some simple instructions -- and they are simple:)

1. Place the desired amount of tuna, mayo, and cheese in a bowl.

2. Mix together.  Add more mayo and cheese until you have the desired amount. (Just depends how you like your tuna - how cheesy/ mayo-e) (no, I don't think mayo-e is a word).

3. Meanwhile, toast your bread to desired crispness.  Spread tuna mixture on bread.

4. Turn oven onto broiler.  Place pieces of bread on wrack and bake until cheese is melted (just a couple minutes).

5. Enjoy!!!!!!

By the way, it seems that the word desired got used WAAAY to much in this post, but it was an adequate word and it worked:)

So, I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Cinnamon Chip Scones

The first time I ever had Cinnamon Chip Scones was at a quilt retreat a couple years ago (I was with to take care of the baby).  They were so delicious so we got the recipe.  They are delicious to eat with any sort of egg bake or scrambled eggs - whatever you wish:)  I really think you all should make some - I know you'd love them!

Imagine a sweet cinnamon taste, the cinnamon chips melting in your mouth . . . Just Imagine something that might be to difficult to imagine. . . sugar tempting your taste buds . . . the savoring of a thing that's to delicious . . .

Yes, that is why you need to taste them . . . your mouth is already watering . . .

You had better run to the store and buy the ingredients . . .

Cinnamon Chip Scones

3 cups flour
1/3 cup sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 cup cold butter
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 pkg. cinnamon chips
2 tbsp. melted butter
2 tbsp. sugar

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.  Cut in cold butter.  Stir in buttermilk and cinnamon chips with fork.

Gather dough; knead 12 times on lightly floured counter.  Divide dough in half.  Shape each into a 7 inch circle.  Cut into wedges, but do not seperate.  Place on pan.  Brush with melted butter.  Spread over circles.  Sprinkle with sugar.  Bake at 425 for 10-12 minutes.

Note: When sprinkling sugar on top, I don't measure it.  I just sprinkle on however much I think looks good.  Also, the melted butter and sugar at the bottom of the list are 1 tbsp. per circle.

Welcome to AJcrazies by AJK

I hope you'll enjoy my blog!  I love to craft - sewing, scapbooking, painting, etc.  I also cook (which is sometimes fun) and also clean (no, that's not so fun).

On my blog you'll be seeing recipes, crafts, tutorials, and just things from my daily life.

This is what I gave my cousin and friend, Pamela, for Christmas.  I had fun making it and I hope she enjoyed it.

I spray painted the frame brown.  I used my scrapbook paper and decorated it with pictures, emebelishments, etc.  Once I had put the paper and glass in, then I used some super sticky tape stuff to put the ribbon on top.  I really liked the colors of this frame.
