A Bunch of Friends on a Shopping Trip:)

On August 12th, Bethany, Kimberly, Tara, and I went to our cousins house to stay the night with Katrina, Pamela, and Amanda.  That night we played games of volleyball, talked a bunch, and took a bunch of pictures:)  It was so much fun!!

The next morning, we were all going shopping together.  We decided to get some more pictures before we left when we were dressed a little cuter:)

When we were shopping, Kimberly found some random weird shoes - they fit her perfect!  They were some plasticy/jelly kind of wedges.  I cannot imagine someone who would actually wear the things . . . it was so hilarious!!

Kimberly and Bethany had to go home, so we dropped them off after going shopping:(  Tara and I stayed another night and then met in town with mom the next day.  We had a ton of fun again, playing volleyball and talking late into the night. . . again!

It was so much fun and we plan on doing it again!!  Thanks to all the girls who took pictures for us (especially Melodie & Kimberly) and to Katrina for driving us around!

Best Friends

Another photo taken at Centerville Grange last Saturday.  This is my cousin and best friend Pamela and me.  I love her so much and it's awesome to have awesome friends!!

The Purple & Black Copy-Cat Bag

I made this bag on Tuesday and wasn't able to get good pictures until today . . .  when I used Rachel's camera instead of Mom's:)

I made this bag for my friend at school, who asked me to make here one, although I never told her I was going to for sure - it's for her birthday, kind-of:)

I made it like I made my Pink & Gray Copy-Cat Bag.  I think it turned out pretty cute:)  I love the simple design on the purple fabric (and the pink on my pink one).  It's not totally plain, it has a simple design, and for these bags I just think that looks really cool!

The bag is decorated with a ruffle and a flower, in coordinating colors to the fabric.  On the inside, there's a pocket on each side of the bag to help you organize a bit.  The inside of the bag is {usually} the coordinating color used for the flower and ruffle - but oooppps . . . this time I forgot to get enough fabric for the inside of the bag . . . oh well, it still looks great!  But I will remember in the future:)  The bag has a long handle, so you can wear it cross-body, which is what I do with my pink bag.

I've used my bag for school; or used it as a purse to go to someones house or shopping, when I needed to bring something with me to work on/find something to match.  It's really a great bag and I LOVE mine!

Welcome to AJcrazies by AJK

I hope you'll enjoy my blog!  I love to craft - sewing, scapbooking, painting, etc.  I also cook (which is sometimes fun) and also clean (no, that's not so fun).

On my blog you'll be seeing recipes, crafts, tutorials, and just things from my daily life.

This is what I gave my cousin and friend, Pamela, for Christmas.  I had fun making it and I hope she enjoyed it.

I spray painted the frame brown.  I used my scrapbook paper and decorated it with pictures, emebelishments, etc.  Once I had put the paper and glass in, then I used some super sticky tape stuff to put the ribbon on top.  I really liked the colors of this frame.
